since easter is only a few days away I have found lots of cute easter things. These cards punch out to make little easter bunnies that you can then dress and stylize and theirs a mustache so how could I resist!

belated wine up wednesday...

So I know Wine Up Wednesday is supposed to happen on Wednesday...go figure. But this week has been all a mess and I totally forgot it was even Wednesday yesterday. OH WELL! This week I'm featuring Lois Sparkling Blanc de Blancs made by The Lane Vineyard in South Australia. The description of this wine is that it is the color of the palest lemon with green hues. The bouquet is a lemon sorbet with cracked wheat and fresh green apple. The palate is clean lemon, lime and minerality. The food recommendations are lobster, oysters, truffle risotto, flambe peaches, and candlelight! I myself have not tried the wine but I admire the design of the bottle itself.

phone fashion...

So I got an iphone last night. I wasn't ready to make the purchase because I love my old phone so dearly and it was sad to see it pass. Plus, I literally just got an itouch which is an iphone without the calling capability. But honestly its buy an iphone or purchase a piece for $40 less. I had no choice. So today to ease my mind I looked into phone fashion.

the aviator...

is the theme of these jazzy rooms. This super classic room tells a story as you look at each piece which has been chosen with complete precision. It makes me feel like I've gotten a sneak peak at the home of Howard Hughes or some other late great aviator. The word aviator its self seems so luxurious and classic. I'm truly in love.

happy friday...with a giraffe

i love giraffes and hopefully this tall jazzy guy will be a treat to start off your fantastic weekend!

yummy in my tummy...

is what I was saying when I made and then ate this broccoli soup. It's so simple only 3 yes 3 ingredients. I did add a couple extra to pump it up alittle. I added a pinch of cumin and cayanne pepper and then of course some salt and pepper. I then added croutons and sharp cheddar chesse to the top, it was truly heaven in a bowl. The color is also quite jazzy that alone made me want to make this.

all the colors...

are so beautiful. I honestly believe some of the best color combinations come from nature and here's the photographic proof! These were all taken by everyday people on commercial flights.

spring means florals...

and there are so many floral patterns out this season. As is typical with every season but for some reason I'm really in love in 2011!

wine up wednesday...

so a little tradition was created a few months ago between my sister and I and it became a hit with our friends and family. What is Wine Up Wednesday you may be asking! Well it started with the show Cougar Town. If you've watched the show you know there is a copeious amount of wine drinking. So in the spirit of the show Wine Up Wednesday was created as a way to kick back, enjoy a glass of wine, and relax! Every Wednesday I try to try a new bottle of wine. This week is Red Bicyclette.




So the taste profile for the 2005 Red Bicyclette Syrah is that it is a deep purple-to-black in color with violet accents. Aromas of blackberry and cassis with spicy overtones and subtle floral hints lead to a jammy core of blackberry with back notes of vibrant red fruit.

Im a LAZY

So you know how sometimes people get on their blogs and they say "wow its been so long since I last posted I've just been so busy!" LIES who isn't busy and still there's those amazing people that get up everyday and BLOG. I on one had am not one of those people.
